Chiropractic is a regulated primary healthcare profession. Chiropractors are trained to diagnose, treat, manage and prevent disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles) as well as the effects these disorders can have on general health. They have a specialist interest in neck and back pain, but when they assess patients, they take the entire physical, mental and social wellbeing into account.
Chiropractors are best known for manual treatments such as spinal manipulation, where they use their hands to free stiff or restricted joints, or mobilisation, which is the gradual moving of joints. Although some Chiropractors have also trained in other areas such as dry needling/modern acupuncture therapy and kinesiotaping.

Seeing a Podiatrist or foot specialist can help you keep your feet in tip top condition for years to come. With so many moving parts, issues with feet are easily overlooked such as problematic toenails, cracked heels, nagging arch pains and verrucas, yet these issues can become very painful and result in infections or further complications if they are not treated. A podiatrist can help treat a huge range of problems like this, as well as providing footwear advice, and foot care management.
